Brew Wave Coffee

Brew Wave is my favorite little coffee spot in OB. The couple who own it are the nicest people. It's a friendly vibe with quality products, and I always find good conversation with them and other regulars. They're a minority owned independent small business. Great coffee, tea, and breakfast sandwiches. Even picked up some little pre-packaged chamomile as gifts over the holidays. I highly recommend them. (Photos from separate visits)

Great vibe being on the main ocean beach downtown strip. Walking distance from the beach. Coffee itself was nothing to write home about but not bad either. Friendly staff. Glad I tried it, conveniently located so will probably go again.

We loved it here!!! We came to visit OB and stopped in for breakfast and coffee. We (and our dogs!) were warmly welcomed in. After glancing around the menu, we decided on a couple of breakfast bagel sandwiches (on a jalapeno bagel) and some espresso drinks. We received our coffee first and we're both so happy with our choices. The coffees were perfect! Then... The breakfast sandwiches. HOLY AWESOMENESS!! They were to die for. So delicious! The bagels were fresh and soft with the perfect toastiness. The sauce was amazing! The eggs, bacon and ham, cooked to perfection! While we waited on the sandwiches, I ear hustled a convo between the owner and a customer about a particular coffee bean that they had there and how it was so delicious and aromatic. I stopped by Brew Wave coffee and really felt like Gelato, they have gelato to sell in their store. I tried their coffee before, it was very nice. And who knows their gelato is also amazing! I tried multiple flavors even though they don’t have that much options,the staff is so patient and friendly to let me try as much as I want and the sample size is really generous. Finally I chose two flavors- strawberry cheesecake and cookie & cream, they are sooooo gooood! The flavor is bold, strong and intense, you are feeling like eating a real cheesecake, just the way I love. If you stopped by here, please give a try! It’s very delicious.

First time ever going here. Really nice vibe and happy employees. The food was really good and some nice coffee. I got a house blend coffee( banana hazelnut) with strawberry and toasted marshmallow syrup. As well as 2 bomb bagel sandwiches.
