Breakwater Deli & Nostalgia

Stopped in here first time for a sandwich. Tuna melt was made while we waited. Lots of antiques and collectibles for sale. Nice quirky eating area. In the old Ewig fishery building.

Having grown up in Port in the 80s and 90s, of course I was curious to see what had happened to Ewig’s. Therefore, I tried out this deli. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere nostalgic, and the sandwiches pretty tasty. Just know, that it’s quite pricey for what you get.

I had the Cuban sandwich with my choice of chips and it was amazing. The choice of cold salads, chips and drinks are awesome such a great variety. And they have a small variety of grocery items. The antiques and cool things in the shop and around the property are pretty cool, takes you back. Wonderful place & owners, had great conversation with them. Can't wait to see it in the summer, it's so close to the lake (walking distance).

Delicious! We stopped here on our way up north and we are glad we did. I had a grown up grilled cheese with a side pasta salad and my husband had a club sandwich. Both were made fresh with high quality ingredients— and I especially loved the pasta salad.

This deli is great! Been here quite a few times and have not had a bad sandwich yet! Lots of options, and the rotating daily specials are always good. Lots of side salad options as well when you make your sandwich a meal deal. If you haven't yet, stop in and give it a try!
