Camping was great on the beach, and it was clean, quiet and very enjoyable. No amenities just sand and water. Perfect!

Was there December 2025. Beautiful, wide, clean beach with only a handful of people camping or visiting. Hard packed sand was no issue for our truck and fifth wheel camper. Highly recommend this free camping spot.

This was our first time at this beach. You can tell it doesn't get cleaned up. You definitely need to wear water shoes because of all the debris on the sand and there's no telling what might be in the water. I'm not sure why it takes so long to exit the beach when people start leaving but even after sitting in the car for 30min the one way traffic to exit was horrible. I'm pretty sure they can create another exit point. It was a nice little get away for the kids but I'm not sure I'd want to come back. That's just my opinion.

Stayed one night January 2026 it was a great free spot. I would definitely stay again but we needed to go. Def recommend!

It's covered in trash, the locals are stuck up rude people who just toss their trash around. The waters dirty. Can't find a store or a bathroom for miles but there's a cop every 5 feet. My dog almost got attacked by another off the leash dog and the cop present said "it's prob best you just go home" because I'm not from there and didn't rent a house there. The closest town had homeless people sleeping on the corner and not just 1 but on @4 corners that I could see of, just laying on the ground on the road. The bar there had a very abrasive group of "locals" being loud and the smell coming from them was of old beer and armpits. Overall not safe for my kids, my dog and I was concerned about myself too. The worst part was the shady motel the anchor that rented me a room that DIDNT even lock a
