Brasserie Tenafly

No, that Coq Au Vin won’t taste like one you had in Lyon, France. I came here to dine so French cuisine, but the menu looked like half-Italian. Confused. But it didn’t matter too much at the end, because all food items I ordered were beyond edible. The food came out on time and the servers were attentive enough. I left the restaurant very satisfied and I will definitely revisit if I am getting hangry during my future visit in the town of Tenafly.

Brassiere in Tenafly, NJ. What a lovely lunch I had here the other day. I truly felt like I was in Paris-sitting outside, eating onion soup and enjoying the ambiance. This French American bistro has been serving its local customers for years. The food was delicious and Brassiere serves an amazing burger. Finally - a restaurant where great food doesn't require a second mortgage! My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight with zero expectations. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. I ordered the French onion soup, which was excellent. My wife ordered the Brussell sprouts which were out of this world! They were light and flaky and flavorful. I was happy the wife was willing to share! For entrees the wife got the Tuna Nicoise, which she loved. I ordered the Chicken Caprese sandwich which had the perfect ratio of meat to bread. The sandwich came with a small salad and the most delicious fries I've had in a while. Service was attentive but not overbearing. My water glass was consistantly filled. This has to be one of the best restaurants in Tenafly. Salads are always on point. Schnitzel is the best I’ve ever had. Make sure to pay attention to the weekly specials because the chef always has a few tricks up his sleeve. Do not sleep on those apps. :)

Food was delicious! This is one of Eat Local New Jersey’s top Tenafly hotspots! Great service, great food, and great vibes. We had a wonderful time here. The chop chop salad is really good!
