The Brass Lantern was such a cute place to stay! Our room was cozy and definitely a nice place to come back to after a long day out in the snow. The service was great! There was a time we didn’t have towels for the hot tub, Andrew was there expeditiously to fix the issue. Th breakfast was delicious and we appreciated it wasn’t always the usual breakfast foods. The location was perfect, not on the mountain but close enough we could go to the mountain, breweries, and Ben & Jerry’s. Also if you’re lucky enough to be greeted by their cute pups, you won’t be disappointed.
The Brass Lantern was great - a perfect, cozy Vermont Inn experience. The owners live on site and were available to help when I needed anything - ice for my bad knee or a phone charger that fit my car rental. The breakfasts were delicious and coffee was available all the day whenever I wanted it. They even put out a nighttime snack each evening. There's a neat game room and nice commom spaces where I could relax. The inn shows off an interesting and eclectic art collection. My room was comfy and clean. I always travel with ear plugs, but I didn't need any because it was quiet. The inn is close enough to the main street of Stowe (you could drive or walk), but far enough away to get away from the bustle of that little main street in town.|I'd definitely stay there again if given an
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay here the past weekend while skiing at Stowe. Don and Andrew have created a home away from home feel. Rooms were spacious clean and warm. We missed out on the breakfast being early ski birds, we were awarded to go breakfast daily. The afternoon treats welcomed us back after skiing on the table were delicious as well. We enjoyed some family time in the living area and played monopoly on the arcade table (now I want one). We would recommend to anyone traveling to Stowe looking for a place to stay but not wanting the “hotel”. Also can’t forget, morning coffee out the back windows watching the sun hit Stowe made my morning. Beautiful!!
We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Brass Lantern. The room was comfortable both in ambiance and temperature. The breakfasts were fantastic--unique and good for you! And they attended to my dietary needs without sacrificing taste.
Very great space at this B&B for a family to enjoy- lovely public space including living room with fire and comfy seats, game room for kids, and outdoor acre with sleds for kids to play on. Rooms were comfortable with nice king size beds. Service was prompt and innkeepers were very helpful with advice and help. the Location was near the cute downtown Stowe.
