Brad’s Place

Went to Brad’s Place with my family on a visit to Pennsylvania. Very homey, and the sausage sou vide is to die for. Many a soul have mistaken the exterior for that of Brad’s home, but do not fear. The heart of Pennsylvania truly lies in Brad’s Place.

Brad is a phenomenal chef who has an uncanny resemblance to Rosie O'Donnell. He is so accommodating of people from all backgrounds. You will never hear a racial slur, prejudice or off handed jokes in his restaurant. He always makes people feel great about themselves.

I'm not sure how this place has such low ratings. Once you get used to the appearance of the chef and explanation of trivial details, you will be pleasantly surprised in his ability to handle meat. I have been to this place multiple times and the slight annoyance is worth the flavors you will experience. Rest assured that if his waistline is any indication of the taste of his dishes you will be coming back for more.

The bourbon selection, shaved ice, visitations from the company dog, and the glorious view of the local giant are breath taking. What strikes me the most truly was the ambiance, however the squash soup made want to rethink my life goals. Thanks for everything Brad.

First time going to Brad's Place. It was a 3 course meal starting with some Butternut Squash soup, followed by a Vodka Sauce Pasta and a Seared Chicken Breast finished in the oven. Haven't gotten to dessert yet. Will update after.
