Dave's Hot Chicken

Excellent. Very fresh, high quality chicken and other ingredients. The spicy is a dry rub rather than a hot sauce. Crispy and flavorful fries and Dave’s sauce. I like spicy, and the hot level had a decent amount of spice. My old fart dad on the other hand can’t handle spice, so we got him the lite mild level which provided the extra flavor without being spicy. We would definitely come back, great value for the price!!

The music was way too loud the night my son & I got take out. We waited more about 12 to 15 minutes for our order. The extra cup of pickles is one of our favorite items. The fried chicken was delicious, super moist with a crunchy flavorful breading. The french fries were good. My son enjoyed the mild hot sandwich, which he says wasn't that hot so he's planning on medium next time. Overall we were very happy with our order! The chicken was delicious!!!! The pieces of chicken were huge!

I went to Dave’s for the first time here in Scranton, order me the tender meal. The tenders with bread pickles and Dave sauce is a great combo in my opinion but my tenders were a little bit over cooked. Besides that it was delicious. On top of that my server was really cool! She asked me how my day was, who I was, and how is my life. She seemed so genuine too, not just an employee just following protocol but somebody who really cared, and had the biggest smile on their face. Her kind soul made my food even more good, she casually checked to see if I was enjoying myself, and by the time I was done she quickly came to assist me to clean up. Also when I exiting the door she even said goodbye to me with lots of kindness behind it. Her name is Stacy, and I will be going to Dave’s again for more

Food was delicious! The fries were seasoned and let me tell you! Man they were GOOOOD!!! I had the 10 piece boneless FOOD IS FULL OF FLAVOR!!

I’ve been here twice and I have to say it’s a great place to eat. The service is excellent and everyone working there is friendly and helpful plus the chicken is really good. I got the medium spice level and it was perfect, not too spicy but had a nice kick! Definitely recommend getting extra Dave sauce too!
