Boundary Waters Restaurant

The bread was delicious and I enjoyed my salad. The staff were good and friendly. My husband got steak and shrimp. The steak was only 1/2 in. thick and too much fat, and the shrimp were greasy. He didn't eat any shrimp and only half of the steak. The baked potato had to be sent back to be heated so the butter would melt. I got the linguini with marinara sauce, and the sauce (had too much sauce) tasted like something out of a can. Maybe it's that way in Indiana but not from where I'm from on the East coast. I was hungry and ate most of it! We were camping in the area and wanted to eat out. If you're in the area, give it a try.

Also had the Prime Rib.. ( Not pictured).. Every Item I tried was Hot and delicious. The Prime Rib was cooked perfectly Med-Rare. It is actually Much bigger than it appears from the outside. I sat at the Bar downstairs and enjoyed great conversation with the bartender and owner. Bar does have pool tables, darts and new jukebox. They also have private rooms for rent . I will be back, as I'm told they have a DJ and karaoke once a week. Highly recommended if in area and even if not to be honest. Will post more photos at a later time.

Friday's surf and turf selection was great. Prime rib was above average and the Lake Perch is the best I have had. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. I wanted an extra slice of prime rib. They need to make sure not to run out of cheese cake for dessert.

A true blessing to the community! This is a place me and my family hope to grow old together enjoying. I bet I’ve been here over 100 times and have never been let down or disappointed. Keep up the good work!

My family and I really love this restaurant. The lake perch dinner was great! The staff was polite and friendly. My family really enjoyed our dinner here. There's no TVs or loud music which made it very cozy, relaxing, and family friendly. The restaurant was busy but not loud.
