Bossier Parish Libraries Haughton Branch

This is a great small hometown library that is up to date with technology. It offers more than great children's programs, arts and crafts, and exercise classes. It is a lifeline for some of our elderly who regularly meet there for book clubs and senior activities. Audra and her team are so friendly and it is a pleasure to use the library there.

I make a stop at the Parish library in Haughton to do a few online surveys on one of the computers. During my visit, I noticed a group of small kids visiting and several senior patrons taking a class on internet access. I completed my work and picked up a monthly calendar of events. The staff was friendly and helpful today. I completed my surveys, thanked the staff for their help, and left for home. I had a great visit.

I've been getting great computer help, but concentrating while working on them is very frustrating when there is excessive noise from people talking loudly over unnecessary chit-chat at the counter. Libraries used to be a quiet place for study etc. It should be reinstituted, and encouraged when necessary.

Great people who love helping and enjoy their job. Great selection of books. They offer many classes and events for the kids and for adults.

A great little library. Very knowledgeable, kind, and friendly staff. Tiny but mighty.
