Each dish I sampled was bursting with flavor, and the menu has a great variety to suit every taste. The drinks were equally delightful and well-crafted. For anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine or vegan-friendly options, this spot is a real gem. I would happily suggest it to friends and family.

I tried their tacos in person and man are they GOOD! The location is more inland from the freeway and on the corner of a neighborhood. Service in person is prompt and quick where you order at the counter and seat yourself. Restaurant is clean and tidy. My personal favorite was the jackfruit birria w/ pineapple salsa and their soy carne asada. I tried all the proteins too but the one addicting item on the menu is their papas dorados (the crunchy potato tacos). My intent was to find a great spot to cater a taco bar lunch for 80 people. I worked with Alejandra to figure out the amount I needed and work out the pricing. I was very satisfied with the level of professionalism and promptness of their service. This place is the BEST!! Moni, Jackie, Chata, the mom, etc. They are a beautiful family each with a beautiful soul. I have been coming since 2018 when they started. They deserve ALL of the praise and success they’ve been receiving. Amazing food. I love the $1 tacos on Friday/Saturday nights as a grad student, it helps me enjoy food without breaking my bank. Jackie’s baked goods are amazing, love the choco taco and the pan de muerto. Thursday Chile Relleno special is to die for. Their horchata, iced coffee, matcha are all amazing! Wet burrito was my favorite when I started going years ago but they continue to add amazing new items. Bless their souls for caring for our community, feeding the homeless, and providing the BEST Mexican vegan food in SoCal and tbh, everywhere I’ve been!

This place had been on my wife’s list for a while and WOW it didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious! The Jamaica/guava drink was amazing. Birria tacos were so good. We tried their tamales… and dunked them in the consommé. Ridiculously good. The pozole was a great portion. Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommended and will definitely be back soon!

Love love love this place. Did I mention I love going there. 😁 They treat you like family. We’re regulars! The food is extra yummy. The only critique I have or improvement that needs attention is a focus on cleanliness. I’m a stickler for noticing if trash is on the floors or tables are not cleaned in a timely manner. Also, they charge a credit card processing fee so I always make sure to bring cash. Sending Borreguitas staff and family tons of blessings and proud of you all.
