Bored Cuban - South Miami

If you’re looking for Cuban flavor with personality, The Bored Cow is anything but boring. I recently had the chance to try their vaca frita bowl with fried plantains, rice salad, and habichuelas, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were bold, comforting, and very much rooted in authentic Cuban taste, but with their own fun twist. The spot itself has tons of personality. It’s cozy, welcoming, and perfectly located in the heart of the SoMi district, making it a great place to stop by whether you’re in the neighborhood or exploring Miami. So I’ve had quite a day, not one, but two flat tires. By the grace of God, I somehow made it safely to the tire shop in one piece. Thankfully, they gave me a 45-minute ETA… just enough time to grab some lunch. I was planning to head to my usual coffee-and-pastry spot when I noticed Bored Cuban was open across the street. I decided to give it a try and post up there while I waited, and I’m so glad I did. Right away, I was drawn in by the artwork and overall vibe. For a smaller space, there’s plenty of seating, and the merchandise section really catches your eye. The murals by Friks84 are super Instagram-friendly and add such a cool energy to the place. I absolutely love it here! I come here every single day multiple times a day the environment is great the employees, the managers the food everything is amazing in this location! Will continue to come every day. The merchandise is sooo cute you literally want to buy everything. Rosie is amazing! So sweet

Rose the manager is so kind, I love that we have this in the neighborhood. My kid loves loves the 305 Bowls. The Cuban pop Tarts are an addiction, Welcome to the neighborhood, also great price.

This new location in South Miami is the first Bored Cuban I’ve been to and since my experience was amazing, I’ve continued going regularly. The manager (Rosy) and her team provide us with excellent customer service. They sell merchandise inside and not only did I purchase two t-shirts, but I’m planning to buy the insulated mug and tall cup next. I love their merch, food and customer service. 5 stars from me!
