Birdsboro library: We rented the community room for our daughter’s 1st birthday party and left it clean and in good order—we wiped down tables, swept the floor, bagged and threw away all trash in their can, and reset most of the setup as best we could. Right after the event ended, staff called us and said, “You’re all good”—our security deposit was ready for pickup at our convenience, with no issues mentioned at all. Then, two days later, they called back to say we weren’t getting the deposit back. Their reasons: • A cupcake box left next to the trash can instead of inside it. • We accidentally set up four rows of chairs instead of the original three, and we didn’t realize there were two extra rows—so we didn’t put them back before leaving. Honestly the worst experience I’ve had with a venue in my life. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM, DO NOT GO HERE PERIOD. They held our 100 dollar deposit for our child’s first birthday because we put the children’s chairs back in rows of 4 instead of rows of 2. God forbid. Rude unprofessional staff, not flexible at all. Will never ever book again.

A quaint small local library. Don’t expect them to have your favorite books, but expect to find something good to read. There were not too many people here and it wasn’t loaded with LGBTQ propaganda.

I have been taking my great-granddaughter there since she was 18 months old, she is now 3 1/2. Amber who is head of the children’s library is a gem. She is always coming up with events to encourage children to experience things they may never have an opportunity to have. We are very lucky to have such a talented, person for our children.
