Bonifay Inn

Absolutely the best quality/price lodging. Forget the chains, they don't do their brands any justice. Stay at the Bonifay Inn, you won't regret it. You don't need the breakfast they don't serve, Waffle House is next door... a trifecta!

We stopped at the Bonifay Inn after driving 10 hours to get a good nights rest before making the 1-2 hour drive to our condo on Panama City Beach for our family vacation. The room was nice n cool and somewhat clean. Linens were fresh ans carpet appeaeed clean but the smell in the room was unbearable so we had to run to the local Dollar General a mule or so away n grab some air freahener and some gain fabric beads to rid the room of the terrible odor. I did see one black bug that i discovered later may have been a roach but not 100% sure. Staff was polite and chatty. We loved that. All in all. Not bad for a last min cheap night. Thanks

Made paid reservation ahead of time. Late arrival due to the weather. Towels stocked and replaced on request. Functional, a little moldy, toilet paper in a locked dispenser that was broken and it overhang where you sat on the toilet. Floor looked like it needed to be vacuumed. Bathroom tile on floor needed to be cleaned better. There was a roach crawling on the porch when I was going in but I saw none in the room thank God but I bring my own spray anyway. Big space at door so air comes in and possibility bugs. Good spot that you're next to a convenience store you can just walk next door 😄. This town is little and they do have a McDonald's burger joint Pizza joint Mexican food joint all right there by the hotel. Served its purpose it's not a grand palace but it wasn't the worst I've ever be

Very friendly owners. We are local and our well went dry so we have been here going on 3 weeks. They are always making sure we have what we need and the room is clean and quiet. And best of all we have very hot water for showers.

As soon as I opened my room door I couldn’t even stomach to walk in with the putrid smell. Had to make a run to Walmart just to buy bleach and cleaning supplies and clean pillows. We got everything cleaned just to wake up and use the microwave and there was a box of Popeyes chicken in a dollar general bag still in the microwave from god knows how many tenants before me. When I opened the door it was so hot and smelt rotten and it was because they failed to have any type of cleanliness with room 129.
