Bonanno's New York Pizza Kitchen

Pet friendly and a bit expensive but cheap pizza doesnt taste good. So it was worth it. So much that when I come ti downtown summerlin each weekend to go shopping I stop here and buy a slice of pizza. Because its so good. Lol

If you're craving authentic NY style pizza -- thin crispy, chewy crust, bright tomato sauce, cheese-pull mozzarella -- try Bonanno's. It's at Summerlin Mall, but the service feels more like a favorite neighborhood haunt. It smelled like a typical NY pizza joint. The cheese pizza has got all the right taste points: chewy, tangy, savory, crispy. Dining room is white & clean with interesting decor, including a large wall picture of Italian immigrants in the city.

Great NY style pizza. I also love their cannolis, they’re sweet & have a great texture. Today I had a disappointing experience but how it was corrected really impressed me. I ordered some garlic knots & took 20 minutes extra time to pick them up, just incase they were busy. When I arrived, the guy at the counter couldn’t locate my order. Then he comes & says they sold out. I was very disappointed. He instead offered me mozzarella sticks, which didn’t impress me as much. But then he offered 2 slices of pizza, I accepted that as a good replacement. To my shock he not only gave me the pizza slices but also the mozzarella sticks 🙂 I was very happy now. And big thank you to him if he’s reading this.

The place is clean, and the staff are all polite. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza, garlic bread knots, and the spaghetti. Pizza is good, big slice. Spaghetti is very flavorful. Garlic bread knots were really good. Prices are very reasonable.

My husband and daughter went to pick-up a pizza on Tuesday night and came back raving about Andrew. They said he was incredibly kind, enthusiastic, and made their night with his energy and eagerness to provide the best service possible. It is rare these days to come across employees with a genuine smile and desire to make sure customers also leave with a smile. Gold star for Andrew! And of COURSE always, a gold star for our favorite Bonanno’s pizza.
