We’ve been going to the Sayreville location for years and it is always amazing! This time we went with a fairly large party of 14 people to celebrate my mom’s birthday. It was a last minute decision and we knew it could be a busy Thursday evening. We called the restaurant on the way and the manager was very gracious. He said the table will be ready by the time we arrive. Surely, we were greeted at the entrance and seated promptly. The restaurant was quite busy and the manager himself was helping tend to the guests. Nevertheless he did not miss a thing. The service was fast, prompt and impeccable! In spite of being a little short handed, the food arrived fresh and in record speed. Everything was nice and hot and served together in a timely manner. Though we didn’t order cocktails this time
I’ve been coming to Bombay Talk for years and wanted to finally leave a review because my experiences have consistently been positive. They recently renovated and the space looks great — really colorful, vibrant, and fun to sit in. The staff is always so sweet and helpful, and service is super fast. The food is consistently good every time. While people think of Indian food, they often gravitate toward classics like butter chicken, garlic naan, and mango lassi, this place offers a different variety — Indian fusion and street-food style dishes, South Indian options, Indo-Chinese, lots of small plates, and a solid drink selection (including alcohol). It’s also very vegetarian-friendly. I’ve seen a few overly critical reviews and felt it was worth sharing a positive, real experience becaus
Everything about this place was just so good. The food felt truly authentic, the presentation was beautiful, and the service made us feel really taken care of from start to finish. I had the golgappa (pani puri) and wow each bite was amazing. The ingredients were super fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the spice level was spot on. You can really tell the chefs know what they’re doing and put a lot of care into their food. Even the way it was presented felt thoughtful and special. And the cocktails were such a treat! Creative, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the food. Definitely some of the best I’ve had at an Indian restaurant. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. This is the kind of place you want to come ba
A clean restaurant with colorful ambience & delicious food. Above all their service was prompt, courteous & timely. Our dining experience was made memorable by excellent service from Pamodh Ji & Utkarsh - a big thank you especially to them for taking such good care of us.
First time at Bombay Talk and WOW. What a hidden gem! We were a group of four (with clients), and I’m not very familiar with Indian cuisine, so I wasn’t sure what to order. Thankfully, our server Ak was incredibly patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He guided us through the menu and made perfect recommendations. Tokri Chaat? Crunchy, flavorful, and addictive. Masala Dosa? Crispy perfection. Dry Gobi Manchurian? Bold, spicy, and unforgettable. Every single dish was packed with authentic flavor. My clients were beyond impressed. If you’re in Edison and craving real Indian street-style flavors with top-tier service, this place is a must-visit. We’re 100% coming back!
