The individual hot pot is excellent — each broth has its own unique flavor. There are great options for everyone, from light and healthy to spicy and sweet & sour. The snacks are also very good. The crispy oyster omelet was fresh with a natural sweetness, and the crispy fried chicken had a light spicy, aromatic flavor. The kumquat drink is a must-try, and the self-serve dipping sauce bar is delicious with many choices. Service was very attentive, and the staff explained everything clearly.
Absolutely delicious! I’ve passed this place for years and my brother and I finally went. Appetizers were good (fried chicken wings and fried octopus) But the true star was the hot pot (lobster)! The broth is wonderful. Great experience! The only minor complaint is I wish the air conditioning was turned up. It’s August and hot outside, then eating soup over a fire…. I was sweating.
Cute place, decent food and service, reasonable price. The only thing I don't like is self-serve water. The house hotpot was plain, lobster hotpot was decent, sezhuang spicy hotpot was good, recommended. Also, the clams with vermicelli was spicy and tasty, as well as the braised pork with squail eggs rice bowl, recommended. Brown sugar milk tea was also good. No sago desserts in both visits.
We came here a year ago when we were in town for a convention (two days in a row). This year, I knew we need to come back. Food is the same as last year. I think they were short staffed today but Brittany was great. Thank you, Brittany!!! I'm a regular to Boiling Point in my town for more than a decade. I like their sauce and spice but Boiling Avenue has their habanero sauce that add kick to any soup. The best part about this place is that they allow you to substitute up to 3 items of equal or lesser value. I like this policy because I can have them remove anything I don't like so, it won't go to waste. It's good for me, the business and the world. Less waste of food! That's absolutely great. The other reviewer mentioned the food comes out not fully cooked but I like it. I can c
Wow! Such an unexpected experience! Came in looking around as I was just looking for places and this restaurant intrigued me with their unique design and menu. I ordered the House Special hot pot and my goodness, phenomenal! The broth was amazing and there were so much food on the pot. For an price averaging around 16 to 20 dollars, you could really fill your stomach here.
