I've been a fan of Bodacious since the early 80's when I lived in East Texas. I stop by when traveling through now, and they never disappoint. Try the Melman chopped mix of beef and sausage. Awesome!

Brisket was so dry! I'll never order it again. The sausage was great. Pinto beans not as good as Juicy's but edible. I did like the cole slaw. My daughter liked her stuffed potato. Needed some chives/green onions but it came with cheese, sour cream, butter.

BBQ was average. Could use a little more seasoning. Very tender brisket. Mac & cheese very cheesy and beans are good . Restaurant clean . Staff not as welcoming as they could be . I mean, they were not rude, but maybe if they were a little bit more friendly ~ with a welcome smile the place wouldn't be so empty . Just work on greeting young people!! Smile or don't!! But definitely welcome your guest in.

The choppers get sandwiches was delicious. It did not even need sauce. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody rolling through town...
