I had a wonderful breakfast at Country Cooking Cafe yesterday! The food was great and my server (Shelley) was super friendly and attentive. She went out of her way to make me happy!
Hidden in plain sight gem. Walked in, was greeted and told about the buffet. Salmon patties, hamburger patties, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn and beans. ALL OF IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!! The only thing I can't tell you about is the brownies and cobbler and that's only because I was too full to even try. Even though they are almost 7 hours away, I WILL find a reason to go back.
I asked the waitress what was good and she said "everything!" Well, she's not wrong!! Everything we tried, we liked! Definitely our go-to breakfast place when we are in town!!
Had breakfast a Ham and cheese omelette was awesome.. and they have a buffet lunch.. Good ole down home cooking going on at the Country Cooking cafe
Always a great place to go eat and harass the waitresses. "Everyone knows your name". Cheers
