We came in right before closing to order a birthday cake, and instead of selling us something already made, the owner insisted on making a fresh cake for us 🥹🎂 Such a kind and caring person! This is my first visit and ordered croissants and cookies for library staff where I live. Since it was near the end of the day, they kindly offered me a free pastry so I had to ask for the almond croissant. It was flaky as a croissant should be, and had a sugary topping with almonds that came off in crispy bits, which I liked. It isn’t a more typical almond croissant with almonds paste (marzipan?) but it was really tasty. I was also given two free lemon macarons, which were heavenly. It had true lemon flavor for the interior. The croissants are well made and cost the same as places near where I live in upstate NY. So, it may be touch more expensive that what others may like but it's not out of the ordinary (considering the price of eggs!) and I’m committed to supporting small independent b

This bakery is amazing. The owner is so kind and welcoming. The cheesecake macaroons were so good and we loved the coffee cake. Everything tasted so fresh with the perfect amount of sweetness. You can just tell that she uses the best ingredients. Will be ordering a cake from her soon.

Amazing bakery! Everything is fresh and delicious. The almond croissant is the best I’ve ever had — flaky, not too sweet, and full of flavor. We also tried the cakes and pastries, and they were all perfect. You can really taste the high-quality ingredients. The bakery is cozy, clean, and welcoming, and the staff is very kind and helpful. I’m so happy to have this bakery in Mahwah. Highly recommend!
