Bob Evans

The staff here was really courteous and great and patient. There were six of us and we got there about an hour before they closed, but they still gave us great service. The cashier didn't even get mad at me even when I changed my order, after she had already taken my first order. We were still there at closing time, because we had not finished our food. They did not rush us out. They just cleaned up around us.

I ordered Chicken fried steak and eggs for breakfast today. My funny story is I went to cut my CFS and didn't notice I had my knife blade up and the dull side of the knife cut it like butter. Sooo tender! The cook today gave us as perfect a breakfast as you could get. And our waitress is the dearest lady. She is so attentive and doesn't miss a thing. Thanks, Bob's LaVale. Sublime! Edit: Back at Bob's today. You know you're in a great place when the staff gives hugs to customers. Witnessed a sweet moment today.

They must be blindly working on something above the ceilings and have left ceiling tiles lifted. This has been there for days with no workers in sight. This is allowing very cold air down through, almost feels like a cold breeze. Had to move tables.

Had breakfast at Bob Evans for the first time. The place was clean and the food tasted fresh. Great start to the day!

The highlight of the visit was the server who was friendly and attentive. Beyond that not much to commend this restaurant. There was a considerable delay in getting our food which was mediocre at best: French toast was barely warm and was mushy, turkey was closer to deli than carved, salad was so so, and biscuits seemed like they had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. We were hungry so we ate what was served, and we did receive a 20% discount for our wait which was greatly appreciated, but we'll make another dining choice when passing through Cumberland again.
