Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We were incredibly disappointed during this visit. Cracker Barrel is usually a good go-to for us. Our meal ended up being over $70 and it was because of the prices of drinks and up-charges on sides. I got catfish with a salad and corn, my boyfriend got steak with salad and baked potato. We both got sodas and he had a coffee. I did add steak tips onto mine. That was supposed to be a half portion at around $5. He had to send his steak back because it was very over cooked and tough. He ordered medium and there wasn’t even a tinge of pink to it. My steak tips were dry and had gristle. They were supposed to be garlic steak tips, but they were flavorless. I didn’t even eat half of them. Our waitress told us the only salad dressing they had was blue cheese, honey mustard and balsamic vinegar.

We had a pleasant lunch. I enjoyed my favorite meal, the sampler. I chose the meatloaf and chicken and dumplings. The meatloaf was tender and delicious. The chicken and dumplings were good but a little pasty. The portions seemed much larger than in the past at other locations. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The rest rooms were clean. Highly recommend this location.

The food and service was spot on for Cracker Barrel. Food was hot and fresh. Service was slower than typical but no issues. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Our waiter was the most professional I’ve seen at a Cracker Barrel so shoutout to him. Food was good and the honey with the cornbread is a great addition.

Stopped for breakfast. Service was ok, she tried, hashbrown casserole my coworker got was great, my eggs were blah but the biscuits and gravy were good. Grits too watery for me but my co workers French toast was good. Watch out for Kyle the waiter, not ours but he dumped a whole tray of drinks in the next tables lap
