We stop here about every other week for a good, fresh country cooked meal. Located at 70 Liberty Square Drive, Hurricane, WV, this restaurant serves good food at fair prices. The staff of young ladies are always friendly and polite. They always greet you with a warm smile. My wife had the oatmeal with toast. Warm on the belly and will stick to your ribs throughout your day. I had the steak tips with eggs and home fries. Low calorie meal for a healthy eater. Plus it’s steak, hahahaha. Everything served with a couple glasses of water and a cup of hot coffee. If you’re hungry and want some down home cooking, stop by Bob Evans in the Teays Valley Liberty Square.

The food was with poor quality. It was a 9 dollar package that I chose, it was a package of a mini bowl of cheddar cheese soup with potatoes, the soup looked like those trick pack containers from the dollar store, it was cold and the potato was semi-raw and with a half chicken sandwich salad that was 79 cents more, the problem is that half of the sandwich had almost nothing and the chicken was from a can and barely had any chicken, with 2 hot rolls but they smelled and tasted like stale bread, the tea was a mini jar for 3.99, in total it was approximately 29 dollars for two people who ate exactly the same thing, the place is nice and cozy but it looked dirty and from the moment you walk in it smells like pee, the bathrooms are very dirty. We really did not enjoy it.

We had a really disappointing experience during our visit. The food took a very long time to arrive, and when it finally did, almost every plate had something wrong either the wrong item or it was served cold. Our waitress actually took the orders correctly (we double-checked the receipts), so the issue clearly came from the kitchen. The cooks seriously need to work on quality and accuracy. On top of that, the atmosphere felt dull and unwelcoming, and the lobby area was way too cold it made waiting even more uncomfortable. Overall, it just didn’t feel like a warm or inviting dining experience. Dinner experience

Normal Bob Evans atmosphere. Great service but the food was a disappointment. I ordered a breakfast bowl and instead of fresh cooked bacon, they used bacon bits. I ate what I could but was jot expecting bacon bits at breakfast. The waitress was sweet and brought me fresh made bacon on the side, but the meal was polluted with the ba on bits. Don't order the bowl. Get a basic meal instead .

After an extensive day of flea market, yard sales and thrift store, hunger was a knocking... Came back to this Bob Evans to actually dine-in. The hostess was quiet, but picked out a nice booth for us. Lacey, our server, was upbeat, fast and friendly. Took our drink orders: sweet tea and water w/lemon for me. This gave us time to make our selections. When the tea came, took a sip, then chugged!!! Really good! And Lacey was quick to refill... yeah! I ordered the steak tips 😋 with caramelized onions and mushrooms. The sides: loaded mash potatoes and green beans. Yum, yum 😋! Lacey brought A1 sauce, just in case. Put only a drop or two on plate to try with one tip, but the steak tips didn't need it. The little bit of sauce I used actually took away from the taste of the tips. Had to send my com
