Boarding House Bistro

Lovely old-town charm and ambience, delicious food (the turkey avocado sandwich is AMAZING as was the charcuterie!), and very friendly and helpful service. We will be back! The Merlot Bellavitano and Brie with honey, pecans, and cranberries were our favorites! The Coppa was too floral-tasting for us, but it is apparently popular as well. :)

The food was amazing. I got try what I would consider exotic cheeses that I never knew existed before. Highly recommend the flat bread.

We had the absolute best experience hosting our Little Black Book: Women in Business Quarterly Mix & Mingle at Boarding House Bistro in downtown O’Fallon. They generously welcomed us for a private event supporting a local nonprofit, and it turned out to be one of our most successful and well-loved gatherings. Julie and Kaylee were incredible from start to finish… helping us set up, checking in on us throughout the night, and making sure everything ran smoothly. The food and drinks were delicious, and Chrissy, the owner, is so gracious and welcoming. Boarding House Bistro truly knows how to create a warm, inviting space for meaningful connection. We’re so grateful for their support.

This place is definitely a hit amongst the townsfolk. It became crowded early in the evening. There's a great diversity of cheeses, specialty crackers, and a great bar selection. The wait staff was lacking due to the fact that there was only 2 waiters. This was my 1st time here, and from the look of things, I am sure that it gets busy on the weekend. I feel there should have been more help. Overall it was a nice experience.
