American Kolache - O'fallon, IL

Great bakery with amazing baked goods! American Kolache OFallon has the best service. I went in and ordered and the girl working was so helpful and kind. Will go again.

I have been waiting on this place to open for quite some time. I've had their food and St Louis, and I can never make it to their place in Edwardsville before they close. But this location right around the corner from my house. I will definitely be a regular. It was amazing

I really wanted to like this place. Some of the flavors are pretty good, in fact I've enjoyed the majority of the savory kolache fillings. I'm not a big barbecue fan, but the barbecue was actually really good. The pizza was also worth trying. The breakfast options are of note as well. For the bad, these are ridiculously overpriced for the quality. While some of them are okay with filling, at least a quarter of mine are 90+ percent bread. I attached a picture for example. For four bucks a kolache, I really expect better. If these were 2-3, I'd be more forgiving, but for 4 bucks you literally get maybe a teaspoon of filling on some of these.

Just went in on word of a soft opening today… had kolaches at a work thing a while back and hoped to get more in my belly. So needless to say I was stoked to know there was a spot now just down the road from home!!! and do they ROCK!! atmosphere was super pleasant and welcoming, the people/owners were so joyful and nice, but the best part, these kolaches do not mess around!! I got a 4 box and wish I did more!
