Board & Brew - Cypress

First time trying. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Ordered Toms Choice and Italian. Asked for no tomatoes and sauce in the side on the Toms Choice sandwich. It came with tomatoes and sauce in the sandwich. Then the sandwiches were labeled backwards. The sauce was good though and just picked off the tomatoes. Sandwiches were fresh and we enjoyed them. I’m sure over time the little issues will tighten up.

Meh, the vegi sandwich inside was good however the main part that holds it together the bread was very dry and crumbled apart...

Sandwiches are really good and large enough to share! We love the Italian and pastrami so far, planning to go down the menu as I hear they are all good. I love the secret sauce that comes on the side. Nice beer selection and they always have a seltzer option that I like. We like to split a sammie and have a couple beers at the bar. Service has been friendly and they offer tastes if you need help deciding. Wish they stayed open a little later!

The location itself has plenty of parking and the inside has suitable dining space for a quick bite. There were a lot of employees there. The bartender was conversing with the customers at the bar top throughout the duration of our time there, so we didn't have a chance to order beer. But the selection was vast, and the bartender was super attentive to those at the bar. The cashiers looked annoyed to be there, and when we explained that we didn't know what we wanted because it was our first time, he literally rolled his eyes. If I were alone, I would have left. But my husband doesn't care about customer service, it's the food. Which was good. I was a little disappointed in my sandwhich- ratio wise. There was just so much lettuce. I've been a long time fan of board and brew, though they were only in San Diego when I first ate there. Over the years I've watched the company grow and inch closer to me. Now we have the cypress location which is pretty close. Great service, atmosphere is amazing and the sandwiches are fantastic.
