Bluffton Barbeque

Bluffton Barbeque is hands down one of the best small mom-and-pop BBQ spots around. The ribs were absolutely amazing — tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. You could tell they were cooked low and slow the right way. The pulled pork was incredibly moist and seasoned perfectly, not dry at all like you get at some places. And the sweet potato casserole? The best I’ve ever had. No exaggeration. It was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and tasted homemade in the best way possible. You can really feel the heart behind this place. Great food, great hospitality, and that authentic local BBQ experience. Definitely coming back.

The owner was so hospitable. The food was great. We had the pork and fork x 3 with Mac n cheese, greens, fries, and sweet potatoe casserole with cornbread. Also the ribs. The fries were fresh cut potatoes that they fried. The flavor was great! Mac n cheese great. All of it amazing. Cornbread not to sweet but sweet enough very perfect. The pulled pork and ribs were very good also!

We stumbled upon a real diamond here. Somehow this spot never came across my radar until yesterday. I'm so glad it did !!! We had the pulled pork and the ribs, both of which were out of sight. For sides we had collard greens, brunswick stew, sweet potato casserole, and corn bread. All of which were delicious. They have a small menu, which I am a big fan of. The owner is as friendly as you could possibly be. Very generous portions, and a great ambiance. As a lifelong resident, and historical tour guide here on The Sea Islands, I'm always asked where to go for BBQ. Now their is no question. I look forward to returning often.

This place is absolutely fantastic! BBQ is amazing and sweet potato casserole was out of this world. The owner is the sweetest man. Class act. Definitely stop in if you have the chance.

I have never written a food review in my life and I just wanna share how much of a fantastic amazing experience I’ve had at this restaurant. The guy was so polite and funny and kind and even when one of my friends didn’t like barbecue, he went up with free food and said I’m gonna change your life. He absolutely changed our lives in our hearts and he even was so nice and kind and polite and gave us some extra stuff We had the absolute best experience and can’t wait to come back. Delicious amazing food. The stew was absolutely life-changing as well as the Sweet potatoes.
