Bluewater Waterfront Grill

Lovely experience from the ambience to the cuisine on the menu. All the dishes we had were amazing; a signature dish might be the crab dip as it was well presented as well as full of flavors. Make sure to meet & greet the house cats, Button and Zipper. They’ll be meeting on the steps or if not you’ll find them under the steps. They’re super friendly but just won’t let you pet or hold them.

We were excited to try this popular spot, but unfortunately our experience didn’t live up to the expectations. We were told the wait would be 60+ minutes, so we drove just up the street for a quick drink since the bar was full. About 15 minutes later we got a text that our table was ready. We finished our drinks and drove right back, only to be told we were just outside the window and our table had already been given away. That was no problem, dinner rush was mostly over so the wait was shorter now. We waited again for another 15 minutes until a server—who noticed us waiting—realized there was an open table and asked the host to seat us. Loved the Carolina Crab stack for starters, our waiter suggested we added chips on the side! Perfection! And I got the blackened mahi-mahi sandwich. Everything was delicious. Beautiful restaurant and view!

Quiet in deep winter - to me a plus! Attentive service, beautiful food. Lovely key lime pie! Could still enjoy the water from inside. Tabitha was perfect - great food guidance and totally pleasant.

Great waterfront dining on the AICWW in Wrightsville Beach. We were docked at the marina next door and had drinks and dinner here. The clam chowder, crab stack appetizer, and Calabash special (flounder, fried shrimp, and oysters with fries) all very delicious. Good wine, beer, and whisky selections too. They offer a unique dessert - table top s'more, looked great!!
