I'm not a fine dining expert so I will just say that none of my party of 5 complained about their order. I had the Georgia Trout, and there are several fish dishes on the menu as well as an array of steak choices. I'll focus on service which was excellent, our server was very helpful and the salad and main courses were served by several waitstaff, so that everyone received their food at the same time. The presentation of the food is attractive and the house salad and bread was excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really the selling point if you are going to spend a lot of money on a dinner. This elegant yet relaxed restaurant always delivers delicious food with excellent service. Tonight we went for dinner. My wife had the lobster bisque, creamy and unctuous, (perhaps more creamy than we would choose but) overall delicious. It was followed by two large filets of moist grilled trout with a side of collard greens cooked with smoky ham. I had the lobster club sandwich which at $29 is a tremendous bargain. Buttery toasted bread with lettuce, tomatoes and onions and...a lobster tail split in two, battered and fried with a side of French fries. Delicious. But, the standout absurdly addictive item was the side of sweetcorn souffle. This dish managed to be as rich, sweet and creamy as any that I have ever had yet light and fluffy. Amazing. Blue Ridge Grill is a lovely restaurant with a cool lodge ambience. The food is always excellent. If you can, request for Alex to be your server; his service is always top notch. I would also like to provide some constructive feedback. If you go early expecting to get a pre-dinner drink at the bar, good luck. Unless you are sitting at the bar, you are ignored. I know they are busy, but this where another bartender behind the bar would be most helpful.

We had the most amazing dinner at Blue Ridge Grill over the holidays. The four of us ordered something different; Filet Mignon, Trout, Lamb and Sea Bass, with sides of brussel sprouts, corn souffle and asparagus. Each plate was cooked superbly. One of the highlights of our evening was our waitstaff Chad. He was so attentive in the kindest way. He gave us suggestions that emphasized the delicious food and elevated our dining experience.
