Went today to get my first ever library card! I was a little nervous (I’m 24 and never been to a library… crazy I know!!) The front desk guy was super helpful! The place was super clean, and for a newbie like me I was able to find things easily! The front guy was even able to show me how to look for books and place a request for a book from a different branch! Definitely recommend!

I was at the branch at 8:55 today (the first day open!) and was so excited to see the library I had been waiting on to open for like two years! This is a VERY nice branch with super friendly librarians. Everything is labeled clearly and in its place, and they had a lot of new fic/nonfic! There is a HUGE children’s area, and a lot of seating in the main part of the library. There’s a conference room and a good size room up front with plenty of places to sit and read or work on your laptop. They also have plenty of computers and printers for people that need to utilize them. I love this branch and am so excited they are open and right down the road from me!!

T-Mobile struck a fiber line, so I came here so I could still work from home. The small rooms were empty the entire time, the staff was courteous, and we were aware there’s still a strict 4-hour limit on the conference rooms. After I left, I called the front desk to ask if this was a strict limit to the facility itself or the entire county and whether we could return later or use one of the other libraries. The employee told me, “No that’s gaming the system,” and got oddly aggressive. If that’s the rule, fine—but we’re talking about a tiny desk space behind a barn door. I don’t understand the need for such a rigid limit when the rooms weren’t in use, and I don’t understand why the staff member was so defensive about a simple question. He even mentioned we could be permanently banned for
