This place is LITERALLY A HIDDEN GEM! Modest kitchen in the back of a market with kind people & DELICIOUS food. I had the Abay Special T'ibs (Chikina) & added collard greens + lentils. The food was so flavorful, hearty and comforting. It was a good amount of food, and despite being super hungry, I saved about 1/2 for my next meal to go. Although it was delicious, after tax/tip I paid $45 for this plate of food. the sides seemed a bit overpriced given their size. this is my second visit & I’ll be back to again to explore the menu further with some of their more affordable options. Impressive food, low key atmosphere and so satisfying 🇪🇹🤤
This is a delightful little place. Restaurant is in back of store and it is absolutely delicious. Really cool staff and it’s hard to describe the tastiness of the food. Absolutely authentic- don’t expect silverware and don’t complain about it. Use the fantastic injera bread and enjoy the entire experience!
Don't judge a book by it's cover. This place is modest in it's curb appeal, and outrageously good in it's service and flavor. Ordered the veggie sampler and a spicy beef tomato dish. My wife and I ate until we were stuffed. Please go and support this mom and pop establishment.
Excellent dining experience at SD's newest Ethiopian restaurant utilizing the outdoor patio space. Everything was made fresh to order, and the awazé (hot sauce) was super savory and spicy! Will definitely be coming here again our my next trip. Highly recommend for Vegan, vegetarian, carnivore and those with food allergies!
This is a chill, unassuming hole in the wall spot - so you know the food is going to be GOOD. This restaurant did not disappoint. So delicious. Run by very kind people. Don’t sleep on this restaurant! There is a small downstairs part of the restaurant in the back behind the storefront, but there is also an upstairs area which I did not see. Highly recommend.
