Blue Ginger

Blue Ginger is a sushi restaurant located in the Davie area right off of I 75 and Sheridan in the Publix shopping center. They have convenient parking right out front. What’s a little different about this restaurant is you can sit at the bar and there is a mini lazy river that goes all the way through the bar. On the river are little boats that will deliver different plates of fresh made sushi and cooked food as well. The plate color helps differentiate the cost, and there is a breakdown of the cost / plate colors on the menu. They also offer sit down, full service inside the restaurant as well. This time we chose to sit at the bar and try several items. We started with the spring rolls and the scallops and then we had a few different sushi rolls and sashimi. We ended our meal with Thai

I absolutely love Blue Ginger and go almost once a week. I truly enjoy the bar concept with the floating sushi boats. It’s such a fun way to try a variety of sushi instead of ordering one plate of the same thing. I’ve been coming here for years and they never disappoint. A few days ago, I placed a catering order for a small get-together at my house. I ordered a platter where I could choose the sushi, and they had so many great options. I was blown away by how beautiful the tray was. The presentation was colorful, fresh, and top of the line. Thank you, Blue Ginger, for always providing great service, whether dining in or ordering to go. You guys are amazing!

We always go to a restaurant right before the movie theater. This time we choose Blue Ginger because it’s located in the same shopping center as Our favorite movie theater , “CineMark” and we were very pleased with our choice. Customer service was excellent and we got lucky that our reservation was for 5pm because at 5pm is when the sushi boats began rolling at the main counter. If you really want to enjoy the dishes while seating at the main counter then I suggest you make sure your reservation is around 5:30 or 6:00 pm that way you don’t have to wait for the chef’s to create their sushi menu on the boats. Seating at the counter is the best option because you get to taste a whole bunch of delicious dishes like shrimp, fish,veggies,different kind of sushi,chicken wings, skewers with chicke

I just moved into this side of Pines and my friend invited me to Blue Ginger. It was an immediate yes in my book, and since then I have visited 5 more times. As a restaurant content creator, I can say I thoroughly enjoy the visuals of the food here as much as I do the taste. If you come after 5PM you can experience the revolving belt of sushi plates in the bar at the middle of the restaurant. I highly recommend! Even if you just are sitting at a booth, you can order from the regular menu and also get plates from the bar after 5PM if you wish. It’s a really great way to try new rolls, because you get 4 pieces instead of committing to a full roll! My favorite roll is the Cilantro Roll. I have a shellfish allergy so I only stick to salmon or tuna rolls and ever since I discovered this one,

Been coming here for years with my family! Their sushi is always exceptional, the katsu is always crispy, and the service is always attentive. A great local restaurant to bring friends and family for a nice Japanese meal, they have a large variety of dishes for everyone to enjoy. Can’t recommend this place enough!
