Blue Bottle Coffee

It’s so crucial to start your day right as it reflects in your mood through the rest of the day. Selina at Blue Bottle Venice does exactly that. We were visiting LA for 4 days and she was a breath of fresh air on a smoggy morning, took the time out to have a meaningful conversation with us while making us some really good coffee. She even remembered our names when we came two days later for a coffee. Small things like this go a long way and she is the reason why we loved our mornings in LA.

Best coffee in Abbot Kinney. The store is a bit tight inside with all seating out front. Not much in the way of merchandise and a small selection of pastries. Coffee is always on point. Parking is street only and Abbot Kinney can often take time. Use the larger pay lots just off Abbot Kinney. Recommend.

I tend to stay away from chain coffee shops because they truly tend to let me down when it comes to things as simple as an espresso, however, I was very surprised with the service and knowledge of the baristas who pulled an absolutely incredible shot and also gave my doggo a treat so he wasn't left out. Great vibe and super friendly staff.

Cute shop with great pastries. Drinks are made with oat milk already! Had an iced oat milk NOLA style drink and my husband had a brown sugar latte. The drinks were well made and smooth! Enjoyed sitting outside under the umbrellas!
