Blue Bayou Bistro

Food is really good. I was able to sample the appetizers. I came one time for dinner. Sat at the bar and had some drinks, very delicious. Definitely come and enjoy the food. Customer service is great as well. If your ever wanting to host a event their they can definitely accommodate you just give them advance notice.

Low quality, at best. Server was pleasant, but absent. The food took forever, despite the restaurant not being busy, and was served lukewarm. I’m not sure that it would’ve been any better, though, if it had been hot. They skimp on literally everything (the pickle spear was sliced in half; the po boy had ridiculously few shrimp and nearly half of it didn’t have any at all). Unimpressed.

Nice little place on the water with a charming interior. The inside was full when I went, so I sat outside which provided a pretty nice view of the bay and the waterwalk. I don't know if it was just busy or because we were outside but the service was kind of slow and check ins were infrequent and spaced out. I ordered a side of gumbo, but got fries; no idea if the gumbo was out or what and I never got a chance to ask before the meal was finished anyways. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and the food was good.

I walked in the restaurant and it's beautiful with good vibes and atmosphere. I sat on the back since most of the reviews suggested to do that . And I set for like half an hour with no service. Not even water or a menu, so I walked out. The bartender Looked at me and shrugged well, "I didn't even know you were here" even thoughi asked if it was cool if i could seat on the back and i got told yes. So I guess they don't really care to check around for customers In their busines, too bad. It looked like it was gonna be a good food. but I didn't even get to try it.

I Cajun chic pea salad was so delicious. I Cajun ranch was delicious and mild. Loved it!! My husband had the fried oyster platter! Fantastic oysters and delicious sides. Sitting out side was perfect too!! The server was the best tonight too!!
