Blu Smoke Pit

This has quickly become my favorite spot for BBQ and Oysters. The staff is so polite and attentive. The smoked wings are some of the best in town with a side of house made bleu cheese. Julian is a great bartender and always makes the experience so much better. The music hits just the right vibe. I was so glad to be able to watch the Olympics on their 12+ TV’s. I can’t wait to come back!

Solid revamp and sleeper sports bar! Blu has gone thru a few transitions but im thinking this is the best iteration. Some major changes - TVs wall to wall! Will be a great game night spot. Outdoor full bar. Arcade (good for whole family). As for food - didn’t have full entrees, went for happy hour. Good value! $5 mocktails (annoying when no alcohol drinks start costing 12+). Half off oysters. Generous portions at reasonable prices. We got 2 dozen oyster, fried chicken livers and the loaded baked potato is so massive its a meal by itself. Service was notable - swarming with staff and the manager came by twice to personally ask of our satisfaction. The only real negative - the normally $40 a dozen oysters - were shucked a bit shotty - not disconnected from the shell requiring me to dig

Stopped by on the way out of town with some family. Greg was our server, and he was excellent. Food came out quick and was hot and fresh. I got the smoked turkey breast plate, the portions were great and it was priced well for the amount I got. I will definitely stop by again the next time I'm in town.

Omgosh I just picked up the best 1/2 chicken in charleston. It was affordable too! The Brussels spouts, Mac and cheese and fries all hit the spot. I so highly recommend this place. We got it to go and it was ready in 10mins!

Had a hair in my food.. The poor waitress brought me a beer (not the one ordered )on the house. I was charged for it.. Not onevtime did a .manager come out. They huge her out. No wonder nobody wants to eat there. Will never go back! Telll your cooks to wrat hairnets. GROSS NOTHING WAS DONE DONT EAT HERE!!!!!
