Blount Clam Shack & Market

Delicious and cooked perfectly. My Mom loved her warm lobster roll and I tried their clam chowder and their new chicken sandwich which was AMAZING!!!! Shocked that I could get a chicken sandwich this good from a Clam shack but sheeeeessssshhhh it was marvelous. I highly recommend

Because of my last name and us visiting Rhode Island I had to come check y’all out!! We walked around the whole place and checked out the market before having a delicious lunch(and beer) by the water!! The food and beer were delicious!! The ppl were so friendly and kind!! I also bought a few shirts!! Keep up the great work!! I also buy your clam chowder as often as I can find it in the stores!!

I rated this place after looking it up ( Blount Clam Shack). I purchased Clam Chowder from Costco's yesterday 1/15/26 in Waterbury, CT. This Chowder was delicious 😋- As with any Chowder I did add an extra small can of clams, bacon, celery. Costco has 2 24oz for $13. Even if I didn't add my extras to both 24oz, This is an Excellent Chowder- so good, I looked up the maker as I used to go to "The Clam Shack" at Mohegan Sun - but it's not the same. I always go to Jamestown, RI to Chopmist Charlie's- (best seafood ever) but they are no longer there and the place now "The Standard" is a one (to try) and done with me. Then to Newport but ehh - any place there is bland at best, reason for 20 years we went to Chopmist. But now I will not only be buying The Clam Shack Clam Chowder from Costco, I pl

It's a fishing town small restaurant with an open kitchen. From clam chowder to lobster roll, from fish platter to fried calamari, there are a variety of choices for every one. The food is delicious and prices are reasonable.

We stopped into the shop to pick up a late lunch after having spent the afternoon down the street at the Warren Town Beach, a 7 minute walk away. I ordered the "giant" sized Lobster Roll with half pound of lobster. You can't even see the roll in the photo due to the massive pile of meat on top of it. The sandwich was very good. It was pricey at $30 (market price) but I don't feel too bad about paying that much. I would opt for the small sandwich next time, though, with only quarter pound of meat. My son ordered a clam strip sandwich, which was very good, and my wife had a fried haddock sandwich, which she enjoyed. She subbed fresh fruit (watermelon cubes) for the fries, though.
