Trang at Blooming Cakes is truly in a league of her own! From the very beginning, she was responsive, communicative, and so easy to work with. Our tasting experience was by far the best we had in the Bay Area, you could really tell she uses the highest quality ingredients. The cake she created for our wedding was not only absolutely delicious, but also stunning. The design was simple, elegant, and beyond what I had envisioned. I received so many compliments from our guests, people are still talking about it! Trang is incredibly talented, and it was such a joy to have her be part of our wedding day. Had such a good time at Blooming Cakes’ joint lavender themed floral & cake workshop! Partner & I had minimal floral arranging & cake decorating skills going in, but left more confident & knowledgable. Had an amazing experience at a lavendar-themed cake decoration workshop. Trang showed up with everything ready for us and patiently walked us through each step of the process for assembling the cake. I've never decorated a cake before, but I think it turned out well. More than that, it was a fun and relaxing afternoon spent with other cake enthusiasts. The cake and the filling also tasted really good! I would definitely return to buy a cake based on the experience.

I attended a succulent bundt cake workshop in which Trang (owner of Blooming Cakes) was one of the hosts. We experimented with various piping methods and learned how to create beautiful, textured succulent designs. Trang was an amazing guide, patiently walking us through each step and offering helpful tips along the way. I loved how hands-on the experience was, allowing us to practice and refine our skills as we went. Trang’s enthusiasm and patience helped make even the more detailed tasks feel easy and fun. Her sample decorated succulent bundt cake was so beautifully designed! She’s an amazing cake artist. Her bundt cakes are also so moist and soft! Loved her workshop. She also offers vegan options for personal cake ordering which I am so thankful for!

Biting into one of Trang's cakes is like a warm hug from the inside over and over again. This zesty lemon blueberry cake with fresh buttercream frosting was the perfect dessert for my partner's birthday! The blueberry compote was bursting with a sweetly tart flavor that complemented the sponge cake and vanilla creaminess of the smooth buttercream. She combines her Michelin level baking techniques with only the freshest ingredients and it tastes unlike anything you will find in a store or even in most bakeries for that "WOW" factor. We added one of those birthday sparkler candles that take several breathes to blow out and it made for a memorable birthday dinner night.
