I've been going to Blarney's on and off for 20 years. I lived next-door when I was 19. When I discovered that DoorDash delivered for them, I was ecstatic. Every time I order not only is the food, hot and amazing but I always get it fast recently. My DoorDash delivery driver sat outside the restaurant for over 30 minutes while my food sat inside Getting cold. A staff member contacted me directly to let me know that they were looking for my driver when DoorDash reassigned my order and Barney's found out that I was going to receive the same food that I ordered and tipped heavy on a long distance Delivery they reached out to me again to let me know that they were going to give me a gift card for the price of the meal that I purchased and they did. They go above and beyond for their customers a
Bartender ignored my wife and I when we sat at the bar. She made two drinks without greeting us. It was not busy, I had to get my own menu. After seeing the lack of variety on the menu and the behavior of your bartender I decided this place didn't want our business and left. Update 4 hours later: I am a chef and this message appears to threaten me and my wife with social media defamation for calling them out on a platform meant for sharing experiences. The timeline you have shared seems grossly shortened. I have no interest in returning nor interacting with you any further. I will not change my review as this is my opinion and it cannot be swayed. Post all the videos you like of me and my wife alone at your carved up bar while we got ignored and fetched our own menu. Good luck
As always, it depends on what you like. I showed up around 9pm on a Saturday, Valentines Day. Sparse attendance, although I've heard it can get packed like a can of sardines at times. 1 Pool table, 8 booths, 8 bar stools at the bar, and 8 stools near the pool table. Not a bad spot, I'll have to try the food sometime.
Went with my husband, we were not greeted, there were only a few other people, the bartender chose to very slowly make drinks rather than spend anytime on us and my husband had to get the menu himself. When the bartender finally found it within herself to speak it wasn't a greeting just an instant demand for drinks so we left. Update: Hi, thanks so much Blarney's for responding. I do in fact appreciate that a 1 star review means something because yes, your bartenders attitude in 3 minutes was sufficient enough to make me leave. I'm not in the habit of leaving places or even offering poor reviews, but honestly I was just hungry and trying have a nice day with my husband and being made to feel so unwelcome in just 3 minutes was enough for me to do both things. I was in fact hoping to get a
OK first things first, if you want the best fries in town: come to Blarneys. So, so good. Also this place is a madhouse on busy nights, if you're looking for that kind of energy then absolutely swing by with some friends, wacky hijinks will certainly ensue. The place is bigger than it looks and it has a nice outdoor area to sit at or smoke. My only issue is is that it's pretty hit or miss if you order food on these busy nights. Multiple times they've forgotten about my group's order and we've had to go ask for help/remind them. I get it's busy and and the workers have a lot to keep up with, but I'm sure something can be done to ensure that they can keep track of orders better. Other than that, the bartenders in my experience have been nice.
