Customer Reviews
Welcomed with courtesy at the counter, despite not having a reservation (which is advisable to secure a table), we were treated to attentive and impeccable service. The cuisine at Blackfish in Cape Cod stands out for its high-quality ingredients, with a menu that impresses with its off-menu seasonal offerings and numerous vegetarian options. Great oysters. Don't miss the chance to pair your meal with a selection of fine Truro wines, which perfectly complement a memorable dining experience.
We had a wonderful dinner for 5 for a girlfriend’s bachelorette. We were promptly sat for our 6:15 reservation. The food was outstanding. The bread, mussels, and beet apps were shared by all. We had the butter poached lobster, The mushroom pappardelle, a build your own burger, and the fish piccata. Everyone loved their meals. Service was outstanding, she was knowledgable and very kind. 10/10 will return and would recommend to anyone in the area or visiting. Cheers!
Went for dinner one night and it was so good we came back again a couple of days later for dinner. All the good was amazing. Not a single bad dish on both visits. Lots of great specials each night. If you do go, please get the tuna bolognese. I think its maybe top 3 pasta dishes of my life. Its really that good. We ate it twice. Do not sleep on the desserts. Amazing. This place will be on my list to visit again and again on future trips to the cape. T
What an awful experience! Though the service was good, the food was abysmal. While our apps were acceptable (longnook salad and a scallop special) the mains were terrible. Both were specials - I had the halibut which was ridiculously dry, no sauce to speak of and enough root vegetables to feed several plates. It had clearly been premade and reheated, probably in a microwave and the 'sauce' was a drizzle under the mound of veggies that served no purpose for the halibut. The grill marks looked fake! My husband ordered the other special Chicken a la King that arrived with shredded dry chicken and no cream sauce. I had one glass of crazily overpriced Sancerre and we each had a dessert (chocolate pie - ok and carrot cake - tiny and meh). The bill was over $250 (after tip). Never again,
Had the seafood stew, lobster broth w no lobster, the other ingredients excellent tho. My wife had the duck, she was good with it. Atmosphere a little stiff, the restaurant was fine, service excellent as well.
