Blackbird Coffee & Energy

I was driving from Fort Lauderdale to downtown Miami last year, and this old school Miami retro gas station made me do a double take. In a world of carbon copy franchises - authenticity is a rare commodity. I’m fussy. Blackbird Coffee is part of my daily ritual. Dramatic, but true. Genuinely innovative, high quality drinks, great vibes, and always delivers. I have prob had everything on the menu and never been let down. Also love that it’s local, family run and staff are always fabulous.

The Carmel frappe with almond milk and no whip is my absolute favorite. If you enjoy chocolate chip cookies the ones from here are so yummy. Have the crew heat it up for you for a real soft, gooey, chocolately delight 😊. They're so big you can even share with a friend 🧡. The staff is very warm and friendly. I always look forward to stopping by and grabbing a drink.

I recently tried both their mocha and matcha frappe - absolutely delicious though I'm deliberately choosing not to investigate how much sugar was in them (ignorance is bliss when it comes to frappes, right?). What really sets Blackbird apart is their excellent service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure my drinks were perfect. I especially appreciate their drive-through concept - it's super convenient for those mornings when you're running late but desperately need that coffee boost.
