Black Rock Pizza - Kihei

Stopped by for some takeout pizza, breadsticks, and a salad. While it’s not gourmet food (you are getting pizza after all) the prices were quite reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. If you’re looking for a simple lunch or supper while in Kīhei, Maui, I’d give a thumbs up to Black Rock Pizza!

Was craving local pizza so we ordered from Black Rock to our hotel/resort via Door Dash. Tried a 12” Hoi Boi pizza (5/5) and their Haupia Ube Cannoli (2/5, not that tasty). Hoi Boi was delicious, packs some heat, and we enjoyed the mix of Hoisin BBQ, Kalua Pork, Jalapeno, Local Pineapple, Smoked Mozzarella, and Rock Sauce Drizzle (yum!). Definitely a combo of flavours we don’t have back home!

The menu has changed. Pasta items are no longer available, but several new appetizers and 'fold' Za'Co sandwiches. The new appetizers looked very good and our (new) Italian was great. We got a combo with drink and small salad. The salad was very nice, fresh & good. Sorry I missed photos of the new menu card & sandwich (Za'Co).

This is a nice casual spot with some really good pizza options. We tried the veggie pizza and loved how fresh and flavorful the toppings were. The crust was just right too — crisp on the edges and soft inside. The only downside was the long wait; it felt like they were a bit understaffed when we visited. Still, the staff was friendly and the laid-back vibe made it a decent dine-in experience overall.

Good local pizza that's fairly priced and great for take out. Great flavor of toppings, just wish it had a little more toppings (pineapple!). The pizza crust is soft and chewy and I'm not comparing it to Domino's quality but the crust reminds me of it with texture. Sevice was friendly and pizza was done exactly in 30 mins. Will come back again for take out.
