Best bbq in Maine!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 My family and I ordered the sampler which comes with bbq chicken, pulled pork, ribs, and sausage. For sides we got Mac and cheese and potato salad it came with corn bread as well. We were given regular bbq sauce and spicy bbq both were exceptional . I am a picky eater especially with meats and I CLEANED my plate even threatened to eat my brothers plate if he didn’t hurry up and grab it 😆. We will definitely be back!

Some of the best BBQ in Maine. I wish I had taken pictures the first time we came here. My husband and I shared the brisket and ribs, with both the “nice” and “spice” sauces. We were blown away. The Mac and cheese, cornbread and potato salad are all fantastic. We couldn’t stop thinking about it and went back this past weekend, to our surprise they were having a 1 year anniversary celebration and handing out free food to their customers including gumbo, chicken salad sliders, ribs, sausage, chips, lemonade. Once again, everything was just phenomenal. I’d never had gumbo before and I couldn’t get enough of it. I randomly found this gem and I’m so happy! Real, authentic Texan BBQ by Texans, and for ALL! I had my reservations because of past trials around Lewiston. There was no need! I knew as soon as I parked and could smell the pit smoke as I got out of the car. I got the sampler, and it did not disappoint. The Monster Greens (aka collard greens) are fantastic, the best I have ever had. The potatoes salad is just perfect in ratio of mustard to everything else. The chicken was delicious and pulled right off the bone/ligs. The sausage had the right amount of snap and crisp. The corn bread didn’t need any butter. This is THE bbq spot.

I need you to understand one thing going into this review - I am from Texas. We eat, breathe, and live BBQ down there. I have tried BBQ joints from Madawaska, all the way down to Portland, and out to Bar Harbor. When I tell you this place is THE place in Maine to get your BBQ fix, I mean it with my soul. This place is what I've been hunting for since I moved to Maine 13 years ago. Do not sleep on Black Bloc BBQ, people. I took one bite and was back on Congress Ave in Austin, Texas. It is Juicy, it is messy, and it lit my soul up with all its flavor. Make time and room in your belly for this place. I'm terrible with names, but the young man at counter is very knowledgeable about the area and the cook - the Pitmaster... incredibly friendly and from Texas too! We will be back!

First time here and we were very happy. This place is very clean and the Owners are so nice. I had the pulled pork plate with two sides. The pork was very tender and the portion size was very impressive. The mac n cheese and baked beans were so good and the cornbread just made me happy. The prices are reasonable. We will be back.
