while I thought the prices seemed pretty affordable and the options were exciting and had a lot of variation, the braised pork I received wasn’t what I was expecting. the white rice rice was stale and even cold in some parts. the egg it came with was also cold. it was just a bit disappointing, but I wouldn’t be against trying something else here.
The service was impecable. The food was good but definitely toned down on the flavor compared to the authentic. Wish the flavors were there a bit more. Other than that it was definitely worth it!
Honestly I’m extremely disappointed, I had ordered the passion fruit tea and when i took my first sip it immediately tasted like perfume, I was there with my sister and had her try it to see if i was crazy and she also agreed it tasted like perfume. I took one last sip to see if i could manage to finish it and I physically could not, so with that I went to the counter and explained it to the male worker and asked if maybe i could replace it since the drink was practically FULL, i didn’t ask for a refund only a replacement. And the male worker said since I drank it he couldn’t replace it (only 3 small sips were taken), and he didn’t even offer a refund for it, instead he had me keep the perfume drink but give me a 30% discount????? so i had to pay $4.91 for a new drink, meaning the $6 i ha
Any new and different cuisine we're always welcome and eager to try! However, if you expect the food to be downright authentic it is not. Having said that, the food is not bad - the minced braised pork is on the sweeter side, and the beef noodles the saltier side. What was good was the bubble tea. The bubbles have that perfect chewy Q, if you know what I mean.
The teas are pretty good but they’re very stingy with the boba pearls … this is after I paid for ‘extra’.
