Excellent food tucked away in a small store. Great vegan menu and plenty of options for non vegan folk as well from the other cafe menu. Samosa: 8/10 Pakora: 8/10 Baingan Bharta: 10/10 Aloo Bhaji: 10/10 Definitely a great place to go.
Update: I visited again with a West Bengali friend to eat at the cafe and we were not disappointed. The lunch special for $5.99 is a terrific deal and the other entrees and apps are tasty and good value. Previously, I visited the grocery shop and look forward to returning to taste the food on the tasty looking menu. The grocery is clean, bright, and well stocked. They have abundant frozen whole fish, as you might expect in a Bangladeshi grocery. Tons of spices, lentils, and prepared food. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for Indian and Bangladeshi groceries, check this place out! Now. I need to plan a lunch date here, soon…
I have not been in person but I stumbled across them on Uber eats one day. So far I've ordered 4 times. The food is so flavorful!! The portions are great. Ive had the Pakora, Samosas, Saag Aloo, Chaana Bhaji. Butter Chicken, the garlic Naan and Paratha Bread. I have been happy with everything I've ordered so far.
Very nice owner and staff, friendly and appreciate their hospitality. He offered Indian tea and bottled drinking water and didn't charge for that. Ordered non-vegetarian food, mixed plater and goat curry with rice. Asked for extra spicy and they were afraid we cannot eat the highest spice level and encouraged to order spice level 5-6. One dish was level 5 and was Indian spicy and goat curry was level 8 and was super spicy for Indian spice level. Enjoyed the food, very authentic with homemade spice paste as described by the owner Mr. Biswas. Tea was ok and was good with the Pakoda came with mixed plater. Highly recommend this place for take out or quick dine-in. Of course, do not expect a typical restaurant experience. We enjoyed dine-in with comfy seating.
Ordered the Goat Biriyani. The spice level was through the roof and I love it. A hidden gem. I will definitely alternate between eating here and the Peruvian restaurant next door. Both the owner and cook were very friendly.
