Bistro Saechao

Just driving through Jackson looking for a lunch spot. Sandwiches sounded good. Not an easy place to find. (Its inside the gym!) But it was worth the search. Great food with an Asian twist. Met the Saechao's (the owners), nice couple who obviously take pride in their business. We'll be back the next time we're in town.

Warning: the food is so good you will eat it too fast and be sad when it’s gone. The owners are great people, they try their best to locally source the ingredients and get them as fresh as possible and you can taste it. We got the breakfast sandwich with sausage and a French roll and bagel. Both were outstanding. Tons of flavor. I’ll definitely be going back. I feel bad for all the people working out having to smell that amazing food the entire time! I would be eating at the start and end of every workout.

Full disclosure. I'm a regular at Bistro Saechao. Everything is freshly made - locally made like their bread choices!! My favs: Keto Bowl for breakfast, healthy Chocolate Smoothie, and the BLT is TDF!!

Absolute magic! If this place was in San Francisco, it would still be my favorite lunch spot in the city. Food was fresh, thoughtfully made, and had an interesting take on every dish. The heirloom tomatoes on the BLT today were straight from the owner’s garden. Drover 25 minutes today to pick this up today and I would do it again.

This place is a phenomenal hidden gem in a small town. The food is a creative blend of southeast Asian flavors presented as sandwiches, bowls, salads and quesadillas. The owners Ellen and Jason were some of the friendliest and most genuine restaurant owners I’ve ever met. We went with their chocolate, peanut butter and banana smoothie and the Asian Bowl with Ellen’s recommendation of sauces (that they make in house) and it was healthy, filling and delicious. If you have the chance to come here, stop in. You’ll be glad you did.
