Bistro Orleans

Food was pretty good. Solid flavor, red beans and rice was underwhelming tho. Spacious resturant, the inside could be spruced up a little .Had the cheese burger, blackened chicken wrap, chicken parm., and a cup of red beans & rice.

I went with a large group of people. The atmosphere is great, and the service was excellent. The Okra Seafood Gumbo was delicious. I did not enjoy the BBQ Shrimp Almadine. I reordered the shrimp and oyster platter, and it was ok. I will go back as I would like to try some of the other options.

The food was absolutely fantastic! I had a dish, maybe called the Bayou Stack, that was fish, eggplant, and a crab patty layered and covered in a seafood cream sauce. That wasn't the best part: it was the crab au gratin. Lovely lump white crab in a decadent cheese sauce. The service was great! The only "drawback" was the smoke coming from the chargrilled oysters at the next table was choking us. I'm honestly not sure why so much smoke was pouring from the shells; it filled the dining room. I will definitely be back.

I met with friends who I hadn't seen in a long time. Our waitress was amazing. We had drinks, everything was so good. I had the seafood gumbo. The gumbo was amazing, very much like my grandmother's, nice dark roux, shrimp, oysters and half of a small crab. It was the next best gumbo I had had since my grandmothers. I also had the Crawfish Madeline with artichoke hearts and eggplant medallions. I plan on bringing my husband and children next time we're in town.

Absolutely Excellent food! We picked the Best night to come too! Got here early and we were one of two tables. At one point we had the restaurant to ourselves. Then it started to pick up. Highly recommend this place! Food, music, staff, and owner were all awesome! We came here by chance and are extremely pleased!!
