Bistro 101

My family and I had a wonderful time at Bistro 101. Thank you chefs and our Waitress Alyssa for the amazing service. We started out with some raw oysters on the half shell, the empanadas, and the bacon wrapped dates. While I love a good raw oyster, the dates were definitely the star of the appetizers. All the appetizers sound delicious and we will definitely be back to do a tapas night. If you are a fan of anchovies, you will love their Caesar salad with some nice fat, fresh one. For our entrees, my father and I split the waygu beef and the special risotto (truffle mushroom) with scallops. My mother got the risotto as well, my sister the sole stuffed with lobster stuffing, my wife the fillet, and a cassoulet to split for the table. Everything was absolutely delicious. Everything was delicious! I heard so much around town about the Mushroom Bisque soup. It was hands down the best Mushroom Bisque I’ve ever had! We also indulged in the Scallops, Korean BBQ Sticky Ribs, the Artichoke Dip (also the best I’ve ever had!), and the Salmon entree. Everything exceeded expectations and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant, has a lovely ambiance to it. Appetizer portions are large. Multiple entree dishes are overpriced. Highly recommend the bistro salad. The waiter was very disconnected and had more of a clinical side than a personal one when interacting with us. The crème brûlée was eggy, did not have much flavor, and did not have a good thick caramelization on top.

What a pleasant place to meet for drinks, dinner, date night, or with the whole family. This was a last minute recommendation, and I am so glad we chose B101. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Our drinks were mixed just right. The food was way better than expected, when looking at the other restaurants that B101 shares on the same street. Every dish had me nodding in approval and wanting another bite. The bacon-wrapped dates are an automatic favorite: creamy dates with salty crunchy bacon, drizzled with a sweet glaze. I wish there were more than 4 to a plate. I usually only get steak at steakhouses, so I was skeptical, but ordered the filet anyway….Two big thumbs up on that decision!
