Birria el Chavita

I recently tried Birria el Chavita, and it was a great spot for authentic Mexican comfort food. This small place focuses on traditional birria dishes, and you can really taste the rich, slow-cooked flavors in the meat. The tacos were the highlight for me—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The consomé on the side made everything even better, adding that warm, savory touch that birria is known for. The atmosphere felt casual and simple, but the food definitely stands out. If you’re around the San Diego or Chula Vista area and craving real Mexican birria, Birria el Chavita is definitely worth checking out
