The service here is pretty good our waitress was very nice. We got some appetizers such as the grilled avocado and the corn cheese dip. Both of which were very tasty, their corn chips are good. I got the fish and chips and the batter was very light while the fish inside was flaky. The fries were super good too. We also had gotten short ribs and eggplant dish. All of which were very flavorful and tasty.
Just ate here with my wife. We showed up just as they opened. First time. Food was excellent! Service was great (thanks Nick!) and very nice spot! Started with onion soup. I had the bourbon bacon meatloaf and loved it. I'm usually disappointed with restaurants meatloaf but this was very good. My wife had the shrimp salad special and she loved it. Nice looking plates. Thank you, can't wait to come back.
A nicely located Gastropub in Glastonbury. Wasn’t too busy on a Saturday night, but if it were, it is very approximate to some other great restaurants in the area. The menu was quite diverse, with many different cuisines being sampled. We tried the muscles to start, they were perfectly cooked with a pleasantly spicy peanut sauce. For my main, I had the Panang curry, it was very aromatic, with nice peanut flavors. A healthy dose of vegetables and chicken. The service was good, however, they cleared a couple of plates before we were done eating, it felt as if we were being rushed out. Otherwise, a pretty good restaurant, good spot to stop for some apps and a glass of wine.
The restaurant is very nice inside- the menu has a ton of options but the overall taste of the food was unseasoned, dry, and kinda dull. The charcuterie board was pretty much bread and a very small amount of meat. The canned artichokes were good and our service was great!
I went for the chili mostly, it should be mandatory for any restaurant serving chili has at least 3 to 4 hot sauce option, Franks Red Hot should be one of them. It was full of chunks of meat but no tomato sauce or paste so the ingredients were all in water, maybe slightly thick due to the tomatoes, not chili. I also had the corn fritters w/ a sirachi aioli dipping sauce, very good. There was a wide variety of food choices, i was just in the mood for chili.
