Big Porky's BBQ

4.5 rating overall! This was good BBQ, do not dismiss that! I deducted a few points based on my personal preference. Firstly, staff was beyond kind and gave great details on the different cuts of meat offered and sides. Pricing was very reasonable as my husband and I spent just under $50 for a variety of food. My beef ribs very tender but still kept it's form while on the bone. Flavor wise, it was solid! Not too smokey with a nice punch of black pepper. There might have been some paprika in the rub (not sure) that did add an artificial smokiness that I was not the fondest of, but still didnt mind. Turkey was extremely juicy, again not too smokey, and had great flavor. Brisket was tender with a nice pull, good bark, and not over smoked (there's a theme- I'm not crazy about overly smoked me

I didn’t get a chance to try any of the other food but my review is going based off of what I did have. I had the stuffed baked potato. The food was good I do have some suggestions though the first one being the utensils, the quality of the utensils was poor. Every time I’d scoop my spoon would bend. Second the bbq sauce was eehh.. it was watery and it taste more like tomato sauce. Third, I had the iced tea, it had no flavor and it tasted watered down but not with good water it had a tap water flavor a little earthy. Other than that the service was good and the food did the job. Looking forward to trying other stuff.

Jerry and Ana are great! Friendly, courteous, and great to talk with. The food is awesome. We have been here a couple of times for breakfast tacos and lunch as well. Never disappointed. I highly recommend Big Porky's BBQ. They have smoked pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, Dino ribs and of course Texas brisket. Fresh flour tortillas, Brisket and egg tacos are delicious. All of their sides are great too. Best in my hometown, Donna, Texas. I Love supporting small businesses.

I had the chorizo and egg plate. Delicious! Great fresh taste. My brother had the beef ribs. He said that the ribs were delicious. He loved that they have Big Red. I got the three meat plate to go. My sister said the meats were delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

Loved it! Some of the best BBQ in the Valley. I ordered the beef ribs and brisket, and my wife got the half chicken and pork ribs, and let me tell you, it's some of the best bbq I've ever had. Owners were friendly and attended us right away. Will visit again for sure...👍🏻👍🏻
