Big Pauly's Wood Fired PIZZA

We were incredibly pleased with our experience at Big Pauly’s. We were greeted by a lovely girl up front, and taken to our seats. The food came out pretty fast and wow, was it amazing! I’m not joking, these were the BEST garlic knots I’ve ever had in my life. My husband agreed! Make sure to get their Alfredo sauce added to dip. The white hot honey pizza was also delicious. The crust was phenomenal. Our waitress Leah was wonderful and very helpful! The girls that work there just have the best energy! Absolutely recommend and will be coming back. 10/10!!!

We tried for the first time tonight after having a very soft, delicious pizza with fresh mozzarella at Tampa airport last week. My SO recently had serious oral surgery and we were looking for something soft and delicious. We ordered hot honey pizza and the garlic knots. I requested the knots be made not so crispy due to a soft food diet, and they delivered. They were so, so soft and delicious! So thank you, Big Pauly’s, for allowing my man to be able to eat FOOD!!!! We will definitely be ordering again. The ricotta on the pizza was chef's kiss.

I recently got a chance to try Big Pauly’s Wood Fired Pizza on a recent visit to Plainfield. From ordering, all the way to pick-up, service was extraordinary. It’s very rare to see this level of accommodation at any restaurant, let alone a pizza restaurant. The staff were great, very friendly, helpful and interactive. I ordered a “Butcher” pizza, essentially a meat lovers. Prices were a little on the high side compared to some other similar wood fired pizza places in the area, but I am always willing to pay more if the quality is there. The toppings were a generous amount and tasted fresh. The cheese was a good amount and had a good melt, you can tell when a low moisture mozza is used. I have been coming here for years. I was happy when I found a local wood fired pizza place and they have not disappointed. Everyone here is friendly, they remember you, they are attentive and passionate about their craft. They have special events for holidays like father’s day and easter. They have special pizzas they only release on a limited time basis. They have a good beer and wine selections. Here is a montage of the many pizzas I’ve devoted my stomach to over the years!

Owners were super nice, I just wanted a small pizza to try so they let me order the 8" off the kids menu. Pizza was very good especially the crust. And to my surprise they had beer and wine too! Can't wait to come back and order a big boy pizza.
